They require suitable sites, technical concepts, reliable local structures, capital, engineering expertise and a clear development and financing strategy. This is where E‑Tec Africa comes in.
E‑Tec-Africa GmbH i.G., based in Kropp, Schleswig-Holstein, is intended to form the German platform for project development, engineering, structuring and investment management.
Infrastructure investments are generally intended to be implemented through local companies and project-specific SPVs together with suitable capital, technology and implementation partners.

Starting with Namibia, we aim to establish a sustainable project development platform for Southern Africa.
Our focus is development, structuring, technical coordination and financing preparation, not the role of a conventional solar installer.
Namibia is our current operational focus. Additional Southern African markets may be considered where suitable partners, structures and projects are available.
